The report details Cochlear's materiality assessment, which identified 11 key sustainability topics. Cochlear also joined the United Nations Global Compact in 2022, supporting the Ten Principles related to human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. The report details Cochlear's progress in each area throughout the year, including highlights such as achieving 41% female representation in senior leadership, exceeding their target of 40%, and reaching net-zero GHG emissions across five of their six manufacturing sites. Cochlear also invested over $200 million in research and development in 2022, further advancing its hearing solutions and technologies.
