The report is Sunstone's first sustainability report, which details the company's progress towards building its ESG credentials during its first two years of operating in Ecuador. It also showcases the company's efforts towards contributing to the formal economy in rural Ecuador, through local employment and procurement initiatives. Specific highlights of the year include the company's reforestation efforts in the Bramaderos project and their support for the El Paraíso Environmental Education Club, which aims to empower children and adolescents to become agents of environmental change.
