The report highlights Kering's continued focus on organic growth and sustainable development throughout the year. The company achieved carbon neutrality in 2019, a major step forward in its 2025 Sustainability Strategy. Kering launched its first Sustainability Progress Report outlining its progress toward achieving its 2025 goals, its digital EP&L platform, and its partnership with Plug and Play to launch the K Generation Award in China. Kering also released its Animal Welfare Standards, which are the first ever set of full standards for luxury and fashion, with the aim of ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare across the Group's supply chain. In addition to its sustainability initiatives, Kering also strengthened its efforts in favor of diversity and inclusion, notably with the appointment of a dedicated Chief Diversity, Inclusion and Talent Officer. Finally, the Group continued to expand its global network, opening a new headquarters in Paris and a new flagship store for Gucci in Place Vendôme, Paris.
