The report highlights Alba's environmental, social and governance achievements and commitments covering the calendar year ended December 31, 2019. The report focuses on issues that are of greatest importance to Alba's stakeholders. The report was prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards: Core option. Alba achieved ASI membership certification in 2020. The report emphasizes the establishment of the first-of-its-kind Spent Potline (SPL) Treatment Plant in the GCC. This Plant will provide a sustainable solution for the treatment of SPL with zero-waste. This report features the HRH Princess Sabeeka Oasis, the transformation of a desert into a beautiful Oasis, and a Fish Farm that will be able to maintain the health of marine ecosystems and will support food security in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
