Aurizon Holdings Limited 2022 Sustainability Report

The report highlights Aurizon's significant progress in the past 12 months with initiatives to build a more sustainable future for its communities, customers and stakeholders. The company achieved the highest rating for eight consecutive years by the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors for Corporate Sustainability Reporting in Australia. In June 2022, Aurizon signed a new electricity contract for its Central Queensland Coal Network where 25% of energy will be acquired from renewable sources. Aurizon also continued to focus on improving operational safety, with improvements across the metrics of Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate and Rail Process Safety.
