The report highlights the Bank's activities and its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and sustainability performance throughout the reporting year, which covers the calendar year from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. The report covers all Bank Albilad's operating facilities located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, relating to all of the Bank's operating divisions such as retail banking, business products, investment products (through Albilad Capital) and international remittance services (through Enjaz). Key highlights of the year include: the launch of the first Sustainability Report; the new 2022-2026 Strategy that incorporates multiple sustainable principles; the development of an ESG framework and strategy; and the launch of a financial inclusion service using agents, often in remote locations, to provide financial services to the previously unbanked.
