The report highlights MetLife's commitment to corporate social responsibility, with a focus on investing in society, ensuring sound governance and risk management, delivering for customers, investing in employees, protecting the environment, and supporting financial health for all. The company increased its Responsible Investments to more than $52 billion, representing more than 8 percent of Total Assets Under Management at the end of 2018. MetLife also committed nearly $4 billion to Responsible Investments in the United States and more than $3 billion to Responsible Investments in other countries. MetLife Foundation fulfilled its five-year commitment to provide $200 million in grants to improve financial inclusion worldwide and expanded its focus to financial health. The company was named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (North America) for the third year in a row and was also named among America's 100 Most JUST Companies by JUST Capital and Forbes for the first time.
