Key highlights include the company's commitment to sustainable development and achieving full electrification by 2025 through the Sarawak Government's Projek Rakyat initiative and Sarawak Energy's own Rural Electrification Scheme (RES), Hybrid programme and Sarawak Alternative Rural Electrification Scheme (SARES). The report also highlights the company's commitment to becoming a regional powerhouse in Southeast Asia, with progress made on the proposed Mentarang Induk Hydroelectric Project in Northern Kalimantan, which will be the company's first international joint venture hydropower development project. In addition, the report details the company's digital transformation journey, moving towards becoming a digital utility by 2025. This includes the development of a Digital Power Plant Solution Map, as well as modernization of the grid and operations through digitalisation.
