Woolworths Group Limited 2009 Corporate Responsibility Report

The report highlights Woolworths' commitment to sustainable retailing with a focus on reducing carbon emissions, promoting healthy eating, and ethical sourcing. The company achieved significant progress in reducing water usage by 172 million liters through its Water Wise project, and expanded its Food Rescue program to divert 1,350 tonnes of food from landfill.
